God wants to bless You

Developing a heart of generosity comes when you have a revelation that God desires to BLESS you.

If you want to be blessed, as I am sure you do, then you must believe in the promise of the blessing.

Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV) says, The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

RICH means to be abundantly provided for so that you can, in turn, be a blessing to others.

However, it is important that we dont chase the blessing and make that our primary focus.

As in so many areas of life, the evil is not in ones riches, but in ones attitude toward them.

When you seek Jesus, who is the Blessor, then the blessing will automatically follow. Just like when you seek Jesus, the Healer, then the healing will automatically follow.

But it is still important for you to personally believe in the blessing.

I am saying this because I see many of Gods precious people who simply are not sure about this, or who do not believe in the fact that God wants to bless them.

FF Bosworth, author of the famous book Christ the Healer once said, It is impossible to boldly claim by faith a blessing that youre not sure that God is offering.

How very true!

Now, lets look at just a few scriptures (there are many) and what they have to say:

Acts 3:26 (NKJV), To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

This means that at the centre of the Cross, is the blessing of the Lord. Jesus died and rose, so that you and I could believe and receive the blessing.

And then before Jesus ascended on high, He blessed His disciples.

Luke 24:50-53 (NKJV), And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.

Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.   And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, And were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.

This is the same blessing that I believe in dear friend!

Galatians 3: 13-14 (NKJV), Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Genesis 12:1-3 (NKJV) Now the LORD had said to Abram: Get out of your country, from your family and from your fathers house, to a land that I will show you.  I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

According to Galatians 3:29, you and I are the seed of Abraham and the same blessing that was on him is the same blessing that is on us!

Smith Wigglesworth said, There is no telling where the blessing will end when a man believes God.

There is simply no telling what God will do in and through your life when you open your heart to His blessing. And the power of the blessing is such that everything you touch is blessed.

Your business is blessed.

Your finances are blessed.

Your family is blessed.

Your marriage is blessed.

Your body is blessed.

Your church is blessed.

Everywhere you go, you carry that blessing!
