“It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs…

Owoman, great is your faith!  Let it be to you as you desire.” - Matthew 15:26, 28

A woman who was considered by Jesus to be an outcast because she was not an Israelite persists in wanting to see Him. Jesus ignores her to start off with because of this. She, however, persists, calls Jesus “Son of David” and requests that her daughter may be delivered by Him from the awful bondage of demon possession.

Jesus, referring to the children’s bread, made it clear to the woman that the help she required was only for the people of Israel and that she was looked upon by the Jews as a dog, an outsider of the covenant blessing that belongs to Israel.

She responded in faith and said, “If this is true when the children eat their bread, crumbs fall to the ground and the little dogs eat them. If I am a little dog and the bread, (healing and deliverance) belongs to Israel, then I will be satisfied with just a crumb.”

Because of her great faith Jesus granted her desire and her daughter was healed.

If you are part of the new covenant that supersedes the old that Jesus established through His death and resurrection, then you have a right to all the blessings of that covenant which includes healing and deliverance.

All the blessing and provision of this covenant is yours. By faith receive it today.

Dear Lord Jesus I know that anyone who comes to You, You will not send away but will hear and answer their heart’s cry.  Thank You for the covenant You established and ratified with Your precious blood. By faith I receive and walk in the fullness of my covenant blessing, Thank You Lord.
