The Proof I Need

“Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”

- Matthew 11:4-5

John the Baptist was uncertain about Jesus as to who He was, and while he was in prison he sent messengers to find out if Jesus was the Christ or if they were to look for someone else.

Jesus said, tell him what you see and hear; the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, lepers are healed, the dead are raised and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

This was proof enough that He was the Christ. Why look for someone else. He was anointed with the Holy Spirit, went about doing good and healed all who were oppressed by the devil.

Jesus has not changed, for He is the same yesterday, today and forever, therefore the same can happen today. This same wonder-working Christ is well able to perform a miracle on your behalf today.  Whatever the situation today, no matter how difficult or impossible it may seem; there is nothing impossible to Him. Miracles are His specialty.

Dear Lord Jesus, I believe You are able to do above all that I may ask or think. I trust You to help me today. I believe You for a miracle today. You are my joy, my strength, my healer, my helper and my provider today.
