Don’t Forget

“Do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up?” - Matthew 16: 9-10

The disciples of Jesus did not understand that when He spoke about leaven or yeast that He was not talking about bread that requires this for baking but about the doctrine of the religious leaders. They needed to be aware of their teaching.

They thought He was saying this because they had no bread with them, but Jesus reminds them of the miraculous provision of bread for the multitudes and the large baskets full of food at the end. Why be of little faith, and doubt?  Remember He is the miraculous provider.

It is so easy to forget the many miraculous ways in which He has provided in the past. Beware of religious, unscriptural doctrine, teaching that the days of the miraculous have passed.

The days of miracles have not passed. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

He provided bread in the past, your healing, finances, a house, and a car.  Remember His wonderful provision through the years.  He can and will supply your need today. Do not be part of those who do not believe and exercise little faith.  Today is your day for a miracle!

Dear Lord Jesus, forgive me for often being so religiously minded that I fail to understand the truth of Your unchanging Word.  What You have done in the past You can still do. Thank You for my miracle today, You know exactly what I am believing You for and I now receive my miracle. Amen.
