The All-Sufficient Jesus

“They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

- Matthew 14:16

Jesus is, was and will be all-sufficient for every need of mankind. But here is a challenge for the disciples; 5 000 men, besides the women and children have been listening to Jesus and seen their sick being healed and it is the end of the day and they should disperse and go and feed themselves.

Jesus, however, says, “You give them something to eat”.

Where were they going to get enough food for this huge crowd of people? How could they feed them? Where were they to get the money to buy the food? So they told Jesus that they only had five small loaves of bread and two fishes, which they brought to Him.

He made the crowd sit down on the grass. He took the bread and the fishes, looked up to heaven and blessed them, then began to break the food into pieces and amazingly there was an increase as the disciples took the fish and bread to serve the multitude.

It was not much, but placed in the Master’s hand, and blessed, it became a great deal. Jesus is all-sufficient for all your needs today.

Place the little you have in His hands and see how He will bless it and multiply it to meet your every need. Remember the miracle you need today is dependent upon what you put in His hand to bless and multiply.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for who You are. I love You and worship You with all my heart. You are able, I believe, and willing to meet all my needs today according to your great riches in glory. Thank You for the many blessings and the rich provision of Your love today.
