“O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” - Matthew 14:31
Walking on water is impossible in the natural but Jesus walked on the surface of the Sea of Galilee. He came to His disciples, who were in a fishing boat, crossing the sea.
At first the disciples thought He was a ghost, but Jesus spoke out and said, “It is I, be not afraid”.
Peter responded by saying, “If it is You bid me come to You on the water”, Jesus said, “Come”. Peter stepped out on the water and began walking to Jesus; however, he began to sink when he saw the boisterous waves and felt the wind blowing on him.
Jesus took him by the hand in response to his cry of fear, “Lord save me”, and lifted him back onto the surface of the water.
Why do you doubt? What is the reason for your lack of faith today? All things are possible to God and to those who believe.
See yourself completely well if you are unwell and have been suffering in your body. Get your eyes off your circumstances and don’t allow your feelings to dominate you. Do not doubt that God is able to supply all your needs and bring you through that adverse situation victoriously.
Without faith it is impossible to please God and a little faith is not sufficient for the miracle: but today make sure that your faith is going to increase by and through the word of God. By the help of the Lord your faith shall grow.
Dear heavenly Father, I thank You today that in the name of the Lord Jesus I have this bold access into Your presence. Forgive me for my lack of faith – so often being doubtful. I know that with You nothing is impossible and that You will help me to become strong in faith.
