“I will come and heal him.” - Matthew 8:7
The centurion’s servant was paralysed and dreadfully tormented and requested that Jesus would heal him. Jesus said, “I will come and heal him”. His will to heal is an established fact. We do not pray and say “Lord if it be your will, heal”. His will is to heal.
If you pray and say “Lord if it be your will, heal” it is a prayer of doubt and no healing will follow. We have often read and prayed what we call the Lord’s Prayer by saying, “Your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven.”
Well, there is no sickness in heaven, thus His will done on earth as it is in heaven will mean, that I should be free from sickness and be healed. He will come to you and He will heal you and make you perfectly well as you trust Him today.
Remember that it is His will to save us from our sins for He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to a knowledge of Him. Therefore, He is not willing that you should be sick, but that you should be healed.
Dear Lord Jesus You healed the sick while on earth and demonstrated Your willingness to heal. Now Lord, I trust You to heal me, and Your will be done in this earthly body of mine as it is done in heaven where there is no sickness.
