Victory Over Temptations

“And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one: For yours is the kingdom and the power, and the glory forever”. - Matt. 6:13

After He was baptised Jesus faced the evil one and was tempted by him in the wilderness. He overcame every subtle temptation of the devil, and so can you. Jesus used the word of God, saying to the devil, what God has said. You, too, can overcome when you say what God says - the enemy is defeated and will leave you.

We do not ask to be led into temptation like the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness; but temptation will come and we will overcome.

Resist the enemy, rebuke the enemy, exercise your authority today over all the power of the devil and he will flee from you. The Bible declares that for no weapon formed against you shall prosper. He is doomed to fail.

The kingdom of God far exceeds the kingdom of the devil. Our God reigns and He is the King, and His kingdom comes in power and glory forever – Amen.

Dear Father God, thank You for Your word, which is quick, powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword. Thank You for that name that is above every name given to us. In that name and His precious blood, we overcome and have the victory over all that the devil may try to tempt and destroy us with.
