He Wants the Best for Me

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.”

- Matthew 6:10

The kingdom of God is both literal and spiritual. The literal kingdom of God will come when Jesus returns and His kingdom replaces the kingdoms of this world. Then, and then only, will there be peace on this earth.

His spiritual kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy, in the Holy Ghost, and it is in you when you are born again.

When we submit to His authority and Lordship, we submit to His rulership. We are in His kingdom and His kingdom is in us. We pray and believe His kingdom literally will come, but also that His kingdom comes into the lives of others.

When we pray we believe that we have His kingdom righteousness, [a right standing with God], peace of heart and mind, which He alone can give, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

I bless His name and thank Him as I come before Him to make my request to Him, knowing that He can meet every need. God, who is a loving Father, more so than any earthly father, wants only the best for my life and loved ones.

Dear Father Your kingdom come and be established in each member of my family. We ask You today that Your Kingdom come into the lives of all the leaders of our city, of our nation, and our world. Thank You for righteousness, peace and joy, in the Holy Spirit today.
